Laura Nauta (she/her) is Researcher and Project Coordinator for the Canadian Poverty Institute. Laura holds a Master of Social Work specializing in International and Community Development from the University of Calgary. She is passionate about local, urban community development that centres the voices of equity-deserving communities. She is especially interested in place-based poverty reduction strategies and community engagement approaches that strengthen communities.
